Le Sandwich - Jambon Beurre

This is one sandwich that is sold in all, if-not-almost-all french bakeries. Jambon-Beurre Literally translates to ham and butter and this is an extremely popular French ham sandwich made of a baguette sliced open and spread with butter that is filled with slices of ham. I recently found out that 3 million jambon-beurre sandwiches are sold each day in France.
